ElevatingHOME Welcomes New Board Members

ElevatingHOME membership approves four new Board members at 2018 National Leadership Conference

Washington, DC, March 8, 2018 – ElevatingHOME today announced that Ray Darcey, Aurora Health at Home; Michael Monson, Long Term Service and Supports and Dual Eligibles with Centene Corporation; Steve Rodgers, AccentCare, Inc.; and Faith Scott, VNA of Northern New Jersey have been named to the ElevatingHOME Board of Directors. ElevatingHOME membership voted to appoint the four new Board members at the annual National Leadership Conference in Washington, DC. 

“ElevatingHOME’s Board of Directors is comprised of innovative leaders representing home-based care in multiple models,” said Joseph Scopelliti, Jr., Chair of ElevatingHOME's Board of Directors. “These new Board members continue that tradition while bringing their own collective experience and expertise to lead ElevatingHOME as we continue to move home-based care beyond the traditional Medicare benefit, ensuring its role across the health care continuum—both today and tomorrow.”

Ray Darcey is the President of Aurora at Home in Milwaukee and a board member of the Visiting Nurse Associations of America (VNAA), a subsidiary of ElevatingHOME. He has more than 25 years of experience in the home care industry, previously serving as President of Sentara Enterprises. Darcey joins the ElevatingHOME Board as a nonprofit representative.

Michael Monson is a Senior Vice President at Long Term Service and Supports and Dual Eligibles with Centene Corporation in St. Louis. Previously, he served as the Chief Administrative Officer and Vice President of Residential Services at Village Care of New York where he oversaw a $60 million P&L, as well as multiple corporate functions. Monson joins the ElevatingHOME Board as a forprofit representative.

Steve Rodgers is the CEO of AccentCare, Inc. in Dallas. He has over 25 years of health care experience, previously serving as CEO of OptumHealth Collaborative Care, a division of UnitedHealth Group, which owns, manages, and provides administrative and technology services to healthcare delivery systems. Rodgers joins the ElevatingHOME Board of Directors as the second forprofit nomination.

Faith F. Scott, MPH, MBA, FACHE, is the President and CEO of VNA of Northern New Jersey and serves as Treasurer of VNAA’s Board of Directors. She has served in leadership roles within the home health industry for more than 30 years, building the VNA of Northern New Jersey, starting a private duty company, and launching a certified hospice. Scott joins the ElevatingHOME Board as a nonprofit representative.

Founding ElevatingHOME Board member, J. Mark Baiada, Founder and Chairman, BAYADA Home Health Care, steps down from the Board after completing a one-year term.

“Mark’s leadership and vision contributed to ElevatingHOME’s successful first year,” said Scopelliti. "We are so grateful to Mark for his dedication to the association, our members, and the industry we serve."
