Terri Cunliffe serves as Chief Executive Officer of Covenant Retirement Communities, the nation’s fifth largest not-for-profit senior services provider. Ms. Cunliffe, who has nearly 30 years of senior living experience, has served in a variety of executive leadership roles at CRC for the past 27 years. In these roles, she has implemented wellness and corporate initiatives that have effected change across the organization’s 14 retirement communities serving approximately 5,000-seniors nationwide.

As CRC’s Vice President of Health & Wellness, she created and executed the company’s LifeConnect® approach to whole-person wellness; where CRC staff connects residents with resources and opportunities to help them achieve wellness in every dimension of life, including spiritual, emotional, social, community, vocational, physical, intellectual and residents/staff involvement.

Ms. Cunliffe’s roots with CRC are deep, dating back to January 1988, she moved to Covenant of Florida where she opened the community’s assisted living facility; in 1991 she became the Healthcare Administrator and five years later was named Executive Director.

Ms. Cunliffe was chair of LeadingAge Florida, formerly known as Florida Association of Homes and Services for the Aging, from 2009-2011. She was named FAHSA Executive of the Year in 1999 and received its chairman’s award in 2005.

Ms. Cunliffe holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Long-Term Care Administration from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, Minn. and a master’s degree in health services administration from Nova Southeastern University, Fort Lauderdale, Fla. She is licensed nursing home administrator in the state of Florida.
