Coronavirus: The Time for Calm Preparedness is Now

Mar. 3, 2020

COVID-19 (also referred to as the coronavirus) poses a significant threat to those who become infected. Should the virus spread within the U.S., as it has in other countries, the older people you support will be disproportionately impacted because of age and, in some cases, close living conditions.

We are monitoring COVID19 carefully. Specific home health and hospice guidance has not been issued by the CDC at this time. On a call with the CDC and the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response, a request was made for specific guidance for home health and hospice. We are also making a formal request to CMS.
