Mission, Vision & History

ElevatingHOME's Mission

ElevatingHOME's mission is to align, unify and strengthen the home-based health care industry.

ElevatingHOME's Vision

ElevatingHOME's vision is that home-based care is an integral component of high-quality health care delivery models.

History

ElevatingHOME was launched to advance and strengthen the entire home-based care industry and serve as its voice in Washington within the health care system. Formed by leaders and stakeholders from across the country, ElevatingHOME is a nonprofit industry organization created to unify and represent the 12,000 home health agencies and 6,000 hospice organizations in the United States.

ElevatingHOME's subsidiary organization, VNAA, is a national trade association that supports, promotes and advocates for mission-driven, nonprofit providers of home health, hospice and palliative care. VNAA’s members provide cost-effective and compassionate home health and hospice care to the nation’s most vulnerable individuals, particularly the elderly and individuals with disabilities.
